Employees Secure Significant Wage Increases over New Three-Year Contract Locals Local 6 Ratifications Mississauga, ON—Employees of Global Mechanical Ltd. voted in favour of a new three-year collective agreement that provides them with wage increases and other improvements. The employees are represented by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 6. The union has represented them since June 2017. Under the new contract, the company’s plumbers and plumbing apprentices will receive a 12-percent wage increase and a $0.60 pension increase over the course of its term. Global Mechanical Ltd. provides mechanical, plumbing, and construction services to the Greater Toronto Area.
