Thursday, December 15, 2016 First Contract for Tarpon Employees at Ekati Locals Local 63 Newsletters Ratifications Sectors Construction Edmonton – Electricians and instrumentation technicians employed by Tarpon and working at the Ekati diamond mine in the Northwest Territories recently joined Local 63 and unanimously ratified a 2-year collective agreement. The contract provides pension and RSP contributions and full benefits. Many of the members have worked for Tarpon in Alberta, where they were covered by a CLAC contract, and wished to continue this coverage.
