New terms take effect on April 1, 2026. The new contract provides members with increased compensation of nearly eight percent over the term of the settlement. Negotiated increases to the contribution rate for employee benefits, pension, and training provide stable funding for the agreement term. “As a small company, the employees of Faugh Electric know each other well and function very much like a team,” says Roger Grootenboer, representative. “This settlement rewards the value of teamwork and provides the stability of employment and income for our members and their families.” You might be interested in Why We Work Safely 5 Jun 2026 Standing Your Ground, and Staying Steady on the Job 4 Jun 2026 CLAC Partners with Alberta Government to Advance Skilled Trades Training and Accelerate Certification 4 Jun 2026 Strathcona Mechanical Workers Ratify New Agreement Providing Wage, Scheduling Improvements 3 Jun 2026
