Faugh Electric Employees Unanimously Ratify New Three-Year Agreement

KITCHENER, ON—Local 6 members employed by Faugh Electric Inc., an electrical contractor based in Kitchener, Ontario, voted unanimously in favour of ratifying a three-year collective agreement providing them with wage gains and other improvements. New terms take effect on April 1, 2026.

The new contract provides members with increased compensation of nearly eight percent over the term of the settlement. Negotiated increases to the contribution rate for employee benefits, pension, and training provide stable funding for the agreement term.

“As a small company, the employees of Faugh Electric know each other well and function very much like a team,” says Roger Grootenboer, representative. “This settlement rewards the value of teamwork and provides the stability of employment and income for our members and their families.”
