Tuesday, March 16, 2021 Expert Electrical Solutions Employees Unanimously Ratify New Contract Locals Local 53 Ratifications Sectors Construction Belle River, ON—Local 53 members employed as electricians and apprentices by Expert Electrical Solutions Inc. unanimously ratified a new three-year collective agreement providing increases to wages and retirement savings and other improvements. The contract provides members with wage increases ranging between 1.4-2.5 percent. In addition, members will receive a one percent increase in employer contributions to their retirement savings plan and tool allowance increases ranging from $50 to $100. “It was a great round of bargaining, despite the difficult situation we find small businesses in currently,” says Alex Kuiper, representative.
