Monday, December 1, 2025 Everyday Champion! Congratulations to Local 6 member Krys Boszko, our December Everyday Champion winner! Local 6 National Krys was nominated by his coworker Hasan Guzel. They both are employed by Waltec Electrical Services Ltd. and are currently working in Bolton, Ontario. “I would like to nominate Krys for his exceptional leadership and dedication to both safety and mentorship on the job,” says Hasan. “As our foreman, Krys goes the extra mile to ensure we feel supported, informed, and safe. He’s one of the best foremen I’ve worked with when it comes to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety. He does not rush us to get a project done. Sure, there are days where we have to hustle, but even then, the top priority is that the job is done in a safe manner. More so, If we’re sick, Krys will highly encourage us to stay home until we’re 100 percent ready to get back to work. “What truly makes Krys stand out is the time he takes to teach. He’s always willing to sit down with us to walk through fire alarm systems in detail, breaking things down so apprentices and journeymen can build confidence. His instructions are always clear and delivered with the goal of helping us succeed, not just get the job done. “Krys creates an environment where people feel comfortable asking questions, learning, and growing. Oddly enough, this environment that fosters growth can be hard to find in the trades.” Do you have a coworker who makes a positive difference in your workplace? Express your appreciation by nominating your colleague for CLAC’s Everyday Champions award, and they could win a $50 Amazon card and a $100 CLAC Store gift card!
