They both are employed by Village on the Thames, a retirement home in Chatham, Ontario. “Susan is deserving of this award because she goes above and beyond for the residents,” says Shaylynn. “She is very reliable working full-time midnights and even working when not feeling well herself. “Susan is very compassionate and has very good bedside manner. She shows the residents care and treats them like family.
