Everstrong Construction Employees Ratify Contract

Georgetown, ON—Employees of this general contractor recently joined Local 52 and unanimously ratified their first three-year contract.

The collective agreement provides wage increases of over 10 percent in year one for most classifications. It also includes fully-paid benefits, increased vacation pay, as well as employer pension contributions of seven percent in year one, rising to nine percent in year three.

Local 52 members are employed as labourers, carpenters, and operators with Everstrong. They build and renovate schools and similar buildings throughout Ontario, primarily in the GTA. The company also has a site works division.
