Tuesday, September 2, 2025 Dufferin Hamilton Concrete Employees Vote Overwhelmingly in Favour of Ratifying New Contract Local 6 Ratifications Construction HAMILTON, ON—The 18 Local 6 members employed by Dufferin Concrete (Hamilton) Div of CRH, a ready-mix supplier based in Hamilton, Ontario, ratified a 2-year collective agreement, with 93 percent voting in favour. The new contract provides wage increases over the term, eliminates the two-tier pay system, and improves benefits and pension coverage. The contract also increases premiums for conveyor drivers and boosts the safety gear allowances. In addition, loader operators and mechanics employed by the company are now also represented by Local 6.
