Thursday, September 8, 2022 Direct Electric Employees Unanimously Ratify New Contract Locals Local 6 Ratifications Sectors Construction Binbrook, ON—Employees of Direct Electric Corporation unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with significant wage increases and other improvements. The employees are represented by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 6. The union has represented the employees since April 2019. The contract includes a 10.5 percent increase to wage rates over the term. In addition, it provides increases to employer-paid pension plan and health fund contributions and improved night-shift premium and out-of-town food allowance.
