Demo for Your Reno Employees Unanimously Ratify New Contract

Etobicoke, ON—Local 52 members employed by Demo For Your Reno Inc. unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with significant wage gains and other improvements.

The new contract includes 11 percent wage increases and over 13 percent total package increases. Employer contributions to members’ retirement savings increase one percent. In addition, the daily food allowance increases by $10 and vacation pay increases one percent after a year of service. The agreement also provides three paid sick days over the term.

“In such a unique industry, the union bargaining committee prioritized wages above all else,” says Randy Parris, representative. “The members believe the new increases keep them competitive in their industry and unanimously voted in favour of the new settlement.”

Demo for Your Reno is demolition company providing services in the GTA and surrounding areas. The members work as demolition technicians and labourers.
