Friday, April 17, 2026 Dael Thermal Group Employees Unanimously Ratify New Collective Agreement Local 52 Ratifications Construction CONCORD, ON—Local 52 members employed by Dael Thermal Group Inc. unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing wage increases and enhanced allowances. The group, which includes sheet metal workers, secured wage increases of 13 percent over the term. The agreement also includes a $200 increase to the boot and clothing allowance, along with new premium provisions including time-and-a-half for Saturday and night-shift work and an additional $0.50 per hour for out-of-town work. Additional improvements include updated premium structures that better reflect working conditions and scheduling demands. “Members continue to demonstrate strong skill and commitment in their work,” says Josh Vanderlaan, representative. “This agreement delivers meaningful wage growth and improvements that support them on the job.” Dael Thermal Group is a sheet metal contractor based in Concord, Ontario, with members working on projects across the Greater Toronto Area.
