Friday, April 5, 2019 Cynergy Mechanical Employees Unanimously Ratify New Agreement The three-year contract includes increased wages, pension contributions, vision care, boot allowance, and paid time for attending training Locals Local 52 Ratifications Mississauga, ON—CLAC Local 52 members employed by Cynergy Mechanical Ltd. have unanimously ratified a new collective agreement. The three-year contract includes a wage increase of six dollars per hour, an additional one percent in employer contributions to the pension plan, a fifty-dollar increase to the vision care plan, improvements to the boot allowance, and paid time for attending training. “The members at Cynergy Mechanical gave us a clear indication of their priorities and the bargaining committee worked hard to ensure that they were heard,” says Joshua Vanderlaan, CLAC representative. “Ultimately, we were able to negotiate a great agreement that works for all the parties involved.” Cynergy Mechanical employs 35 Local 52 members who perform mechanical work in the Greater Toronto Area.
