Thursday, June 16, 2022 Cynergy Mechanical Employees Unanimously Ratify Agreement Providing Strong Wage Gains Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Etobicoke, ON—Local 52 members employed by Cynergy Mechanical Ltd. unanimously ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with strong wage gains and retirement savings increase. The new contract includes an $8 per hour increase to wages over the term. In addition, employer contributions to members’ retirement savings increased by two percent in the first year of the agreement. “The bargaining committee worked hard to secure solid wages and pension contributions for the members while the cost of living continues to increase,” says Josh Vanderlaan, representative. “The new agreement will provide stability and security for the members for the next three years.” The 20 members employed by Cynergy include plumbers and refrigeration and air conditioning mechanics. The Etobicoke-based mechanical contractor provides services throughout the GTA.
