Monday, April 23, 2018 Course Gives Stewards a Boost Local 63 Newsletters During the last two weeks of January, Local 63 stewards gathered in the Calgary, Edmonton, and Fort McMurray member centres for the third annual stewards training session. In every workplace, stewards are the essential link between members, employers, and CLAC. Ongoing training provides stewards with the tools to support their work in the field. The days of training were filled with interesting discussion about relevant matters at our members’ workplaces. Tremendous appreciation goes to all the stewards out there who are supporting our many members as they look for satisfaction in their work. If you have any questions at your workplace, this is a reminder to find your steward, start the dialogue, and become part of CLAC’s bigger effort to make our workplaces better.
