Friday, November 3, 2023 Competitive Wage Increases for Real Canadian Wholesale Clubs Employees with New Agreement Locals Local 301 Ratifications Sectors Retail Edmonton—Over 400 Local 301 members employed as service clerks by Real Canadian Wholesale Clubs across seven stores in Alberta (Lethbridge, Calgary, Red Deer, Edmonton, and Bonnyville) ratified a six-year collective agreement, with 74 percent voting in favour. The new contract provides competitive wage increases for all members over the term. In addition, employer contributions to benefits plan funding were increased and a new steel-toed safety footwear allowance was added. The agreement also includes improvements to scheduling flexibility to enable part-time employees to receive more hours.
