Friday, April 12, 2024 Compass Hydrovac Employees Unanimously Ratify First Collective Agreement Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Oakville, ON—Local 52 members employed by Compass Hydrovac, based in Oakville, Ontario, unanimously ratified their first collective agreement. The three-year contract introduces a competitive wage grid that the members are happy with and will help the employer secure work and expand the business. Members will be enrolled in the CLAC Pension Plan with 10 percent employer contributions and the CLAC benefits plan. In addition, the agreement provides a $250 boot and clothing allowance, a $350 allowance for prescription safety glasses, a 15 percent shift premium, and a 12 percent foreperson premium.
