A wage review for members employed by Aecon provided them with a 3.5% increase. Industra Construction Corp. Members employed by Industra unanimously ratified a 3-year agreement providing them with 3.5% wage increases in each year of the agreement. In addition, employer contributions to members’ retirement savings increases to 10%, and the boot allowance increases to $420/yr. The employer will also contribute to the union’s training and industry funds. Ledcor Construction Limited Collective agreement renewal for members employed by Ledcor provided them with improvements to travel, employer contributions to training, increases to the work wear allowance and premiums, and an increase to pension and wages worth more than 8% over 3 years. Collective agreement renewal for members employed by NAC provided them with improvements to vacation and statutory pay for long-serving employees, earlier access to health insurance, improvements to transportation and the living-out allowance, increases to the work wear allowance and employer contributions to training, and increases to pension and wages worth more than 9.5% over 3 years.
