Thursday, January 31, 2019 CLAC Submits Follow Up Prebudget Recommendations Policy Briefs As a follow up to CLAC’s 2018 prebudget submission to the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, CLAC has made a 2019 prebudget submission to the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs. For our prebudget submission this year, we focussed on urgent changes needed in our long term care sector that will support ending hallway healthcare, reducing red tape by eliminating unnecessary and redundant elements of patient documentation, and on proposing a tax credit for volunteer firefighters. We will be making the same submission to the Minister of Finance by February 9. You can read the submission in the PDF below.
