Friday, November 2, 2018 CLAC Members Unanimously Endorse New Contract with R.D.M. Trucking & Excavating Local 68 Ratifications Langley, BC—CLAC Local 68 members employed at R.D.M. Trucking & Excavating Ltd. have unanimously ratified a new three-year collective agreement. Wages will increase by 2.5 percent in the contract’s first year (retroactive to September 15, 2018), 3 percent in the second year, and 3.5 percent in the third year. Other highlights include increased employer contributions to RRSPs and increased vacation pay for members at five and 10 years of service. “It was a good round of bargaining and we made some solid gains in our contract,” says José Coto, a CLAC steward and member of the bargaining committee. “We had good back-and-forth with the company, and I believe both sides were happy with the positive result.” R.D.M.
