CLAC Members Employed by Royal Ready Construction Unanimously Ratify New Contract

Mississauga, ON—CLAC Local 52 members employed by Royal Ready Construction Limited have unanimously ratified a new collective agreement.

The three-year contract includes combined increases of 11.5 percent in wages and employer contributions to the pension plan, improvements to the dental plan and the extended healthcare plan, and an increase in the boot allowance.

“The negotiation process was productive and the bargaining committee worked hard to achieve the priorities of the members at Royal Ready Construction,” says Joshua Vanderlaan, CLAC representative. “The new agreement will also reward long-serving employees with increased pension amounts after 10 and 15 years of service.”

Royal Ready Construction employs 16 CLAC members who perform concrete work in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area.
