Tuesday, December 31, 2019 Centennial Park Place Employees Unanimously Ratify New Agreement Ratifications Etobicoke, ON—Workers employed by Centennial Park Place Retirement Home have recently ratified a new four-year collective agreement. The employees are members of Health Care and Service Workers Union, CLAC Local 304. This is the second collective agreement bargained by CLAC since taking over representation rights from a different union. The agreement provides employees with wage increases over four years of up to 12 percent for some classifications, as well as many other monetary improvements such as increased life insurance, vision reimbursement, and improved drug coverage. “Our members were extremely pleased with this settlement,” says Kevin Gates, CLAC representative.
