The awards ceremony celebrated those who have shared their time and talent to train apprentices, and to raise the profile of apprenticeship and certification in the skilled trades in Manitoba. CLAC apprentice Chris Wilson was nominated for journeyperson of the year. Congratulations, Chris! Penn-Co Construction Canada Ltd., a CLAC-signatory contractor, won the Rural Employer of the Year award. NAC (North America Const. Ltd.), also a CLAC-signatory contractor, was awarded the Urban Employer of the Year award in 2020.
