Sunday, February 28, 2021 Celebrating Outstanding Work Newsletters Manitoba Local 152 The 14th Manitoba Apprenticeship Awards of Distinction took place virtually in January. The awards ceremony celebrated those who have shared their time and talent to train apprentices, and to raise the profile of apprenticeship and certification in the skilled trades in Manitoba. CLAC apprentice Chris Wilson was nominated for journeyperson of the year. Congratulations, Chris! Penn-Co Construction Canada Ltd., a CLAC-signatory contractor, won the Rural Employer of the Year award. NAC (North America Const. Ltd.), also a CLAC-signatory contractor, was awarded the Urban Employer of the Year award in 2020.
