Tuesday, September 17, 2024 Can-Am Pipe Works Employees Ratify New Three-Year Agreement Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Woodbridge, ON—Local 52 members employed by Can-Am Pipe Works Ltd., based in Woodbridge, Ontario, voted 85 percent in favour of ratifying a three-year collective agreement providing them with wage increases and improvements to retirement savings. The 22 sprinkler fitters work primarily in the GTA and Ottawa. The new contract provides them with nine percent wage increases over the term. In addition, employer contributions to members’ retirement savings will increase by one percent in the second and third year of the contract, bringing the total to twelve percent. The contract also includes improvements to vision care coverage and new out-of-town premiums.
