Tuesday, January 21, 2025 Cambie Forming Employees Vote Overwhelmingly in Favour of New Contract Locals Local 68 Ratifications Sectors Construction VANCOUVER—Local 68 members employed by Cambie Forming Ltd. voted 92 percent in favour of ratifying a two-year collective agreement providing them with annual wage increases and other improvements. The new contract includes a 3.5 percent wage increase with retroactive pay in the first year and a 2.5 percent increase effective January 1, 2026. In addition, members received a $500 signing bonus. Other improvements include direct pay benefits, the qualification period for benefits reduced from 480 hours to 350 hours, and a $100 annual footwear allowance that can be rolled over for 1 year. Cambie Forming is a general contractor based in Vancouver. It currently employs approximately 95 Local 68 members.
