Sunday, August 14, 2022 Call for Nominations for the Local 301 Board Newsletters Alberta Local 301 As per the Local 301 Constitution, one-third of the local board’s positions expire each year. The terms of three positions will expire December 31, 2022. The board is therefore inviting you to submit names of possible nominees. From these suggestions, the board will develop a final slate as per Article 8.08 of the constitution. When presenting names of possible nominees, it is important to remember that “no one shall be nominated who is not a member in good standing of the local, has not indicated a willingness to serve if elected, is not qualified to give leadership that is in harmony with the constitution, or whose conduct reflects unfavorably upon CLAC or its locals” (article 12.07). For the board to do so, it is necessary to receive nominations on or before noon, November 15, 2022, at the Edmonton Member Centre.
