Brand Energy Job Fair a Big Success

In January and February, CLAC Jobs collaborated with Brand Energy to host three job fairs at the Edmonton Member Centre. The goal was to attract experienced insulators and scaffolders for the Shell Scotford project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Brand recruiters interviewed almost 300 people during fairs held on January 11, January 24, and February 8.

Here are some of the highlights

· Approximately 3,300 points of contact made between January 2 and February 8;

· 9,595 accumulative views on Indeed;

· Up to 20,486 people reached on Facebook;

· 1,460 accumulative résumés received and processed;

· 279 people attended and interviewed ;

· 93 people hired (as of March 14):

o 57 scaffolders

o 32 insulators

o 4 zoom boom operators.
