Friday, June 28, 2024 Brampton Brick Employees Secure Outstanding Wage Increases with New Contract Locals Local 52 Ratifications Sectors Construction Brampton, ON—Local 52 members employed by Brampton Brick Limited overwhelmingly ratified a three-year collective agreement providing them with outstanding wage increases. The local was certified by the Ontario Labour Relations Board to represent the company’s employees way back on September 30, 1968—almost 56 years ago! The new contract provides members with wage increases ranging from 18 to 19 percent, depending on classification, over the term. Additional premiums were also added for team lead hands. The 30 members are employed as brick manufacturers and equipment operators. Members voted 96 percent in favour of ratifying the new agreement.
