Monday, June 19, 2017 Box 43 Wins Building Communities Donation News Newsletters CLAC is committed to supporting local communities. Twice per year, we select up to 15 causes at random from those nominated by members to receive a donation to help them in the important work they do. The Box 43 Association was awarded $1,500 through our June draw. It was nominated by Local 911 member Brent Warner, who is employed by the City of Hamilton. “This is a volunteer organization that provides canteen and rehab services to the firefighters of the Hamilton Fire Department and surrounding area,” says Brent. “This donation will help the organization continue its work of responding 24/7 providing hydration and nourishment to emergency workers.” Learn more at clac.ca/buildingcommunities. The nomination deadline for the December draw is November 30.
