Tuesday, August 24, 2021 Back to Normal Newsletters Ontario Healthcare Local 304 members at Roberta Place in Barrie were very happy that the union was on site to conduct steward elections on August 24, 2021. This group has gone through so much. A deadly COVID-19 outbreak of the B.1.1.7 Alpha variant originating in the UK earlier in the year infected over 230 staff and residents. Seventy-one people died. Staff commented that it was nice to get back to normal. Having union representatives on site is part of that normalcy.
