Awards for Outstanding RAP Students
On November 18, 2016, the 16th annual Alberta student Registered Apprentice Program (RAP) Scholarship Awards night took place. It was a night to honour the achievements of students who are enrolled in the program. This year, two of the winners were affiliated with CLAC.
James Edwards, who is employed at JV Driver’s steel shop as a welding apprentice, received an Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board RAP Scholarship.
Thomas Martinez, enrolled in first level carpentry at NAIT, earned hours toward his apprenticeship working for PCL Builders. He received the CLAC RAP Scholarship.
Congratulations to these individuals, and their fellow students on their accomplishments!
