Another Successful Local 53 Golf Tournament for Charity

On February 25, Local 53 hosted their annual indoor charity golf tournament.

Ten teams (40 golfers) played the PGA National course at On the Green, Tecumseh, and raised $1,414.55 for the Downtown Mission of Windsor!

It was a tight game, with two teams tied at 61 after the round. The tie was broken with a single shot “closest to the pin” tie breaker. Laine Parent hit an iron to 3.7 feet from the pin, giving the team from Masse Electric the win. Congratulations to the team of Laine, Scott, Matt, and John who received four tickets to a Red Wings game in Detroit (donated by JMR Electric) and CLAC ball caps.

Men’s Closest to Pin: John Tortola
Women’s Closest to Pin: Leah Roach
