Albright Gardens Employees Vote Overwhelmingly in Favour of New Collective Agreement

Beamsville, ON—The employees of Albright Gardens in Beamsville, Ontario, have recently ratified a new two-year collective agreement, with over 95 percent voting in favour of the settlement.

The renewal agreement contains special adjustments to the wage grid for all classifications that exceed industry norms as well as other monetary improvements.

The employees are represented by Niagara Health Care and Service Workers Union, CLAC Local 302. The union has represented the employees since 2004, but after 15 years of representation with CLAC, they left to join Unifor. In December 2022, they returned to CLAC Local 302.

“We’re so happy to have the employees of Albright Gardens back in Local 302,” says Isobel Farrell, provincial representative. “We are so pleased with these results for the membership.”
