Advancing Students' Skills

In June, 16 students from Harry Ainlay High School visited the CLAC welding shop in Edmonton with their instructor, John Neufeld, to attempt a flat CWB ticket. Thirteen of the students
were successful!

This is the second year that students from Harry Ainlay have come to test their skills. Last year, 11 of the 12 students who attempted to achieve the ticket were successful.

“John and his students were thrilled to take part in this certification exam, and are extremely appreciative of all the work CLAC does to promote the trades at the secondary level,” says Adam Clifford, welding instructor. “We look forward to welcoming more students next year.”
