Though the threat of rain was imminent, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the 72 players who took to the course, including Local 304 members and IOOF volunteers. Congratulations to overall winners Rene Ducasse, Marg Ducasse, Brian Hartzell, and Carol Hartzell. The Hartzells are volunteers at IOOF and big supporters of the event. Brian used the occasion to celebrate his 65th birthday! Special thanks go to Nicole Bahlke who helped organize the event, with some help from other attendees. CLAC provided items for gift bags for the players. Fellow Local 304 member Suzanne Gagne-Haines, a dietary aide and steward at Whispering Pines Residence in Barrie, joined the fun.
