SAIA Second Year Scaffold Erector Course and Exam

PREREQUISITE: COMPLETION OF LEVEL 1

This 2 day module is designed for scaffolders with 3200 hours of scaffolding experience. This module instructs a student to build more advanced scaffolds. Theory includes proper and safe work practices and basic blueprinting scaffolds. The practical is based upon independent structure scaffolds including tower with buttresses, tower with cantilevers, area scaffolds, and scaffold runs.

Third Year Trainee status is achieved upon completion of Second Year level.
