Toolbox 3 – Knowledge of Self – The Reactive vs. The Regulated Brain! | In-Class

This course examines the what and why behind our triggers and how they can negatively affect our ability to respond in healthy ways when faced with difficult emotions, thoughts, circumstances, and people in our role as stewards.
Each session is designed to bring a deeper understanding of the what and why behind our reactivity, and how to respond to what's going on inside us with a state of regulation versus dysregulation. Topics covered include:
- Session 1: Feelings 101
- Session 2: Thoughts 101
- Session 3: Understanding Your Reactivity 101 (It’s always about you!)
- Session 4: Changing Your Response Patterns 101 (Emotional intelligence and triggers)
Course Requirements
You will be required to answer these questions and provide the following information after clicking "Request to Register."
- Are you a steward? This course is for stewards who have taken Toolbox 1 and 2. If you are not a steward and are interested in becoming one, please contact your representative.
- Do you have a Gmail account? All relevant course materials, including your collective agreement, will be provided to you and accessible via a tablet given to you on the day of training. A Gmail account is required for the course materials to be accessible to you through the tablet. Please provide your Gmail address when submitting your request to register. - Name and contact information (phone/email) of your employer who approved your day off work to take this training.
