This course meets WorkSafe BC requirements for first aid training in the workplace.
WorkSafe BC’s Occupational First Aid Intermediate has replaced previous course title Occupational First Aid Level 2 training.
This course is designed to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge for managing injuries and medical emergencies in the workplace. This comprehensive training focuses on assessing and stabilizing patients until advanced medical help arrives. Participants will learn how to effectively handle various scenarios, including bleeding control, airway management, fractures, and shock.
The course is ideal for individuals seeking to meet workplace safety requirements and enhance their ability to respond confidently in emergency situations. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified as Intermediate First Aid attendants, ensuring compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations.
