Wage Gains and Other Improvements for C.E.C. Mechanical Employees with New Contract

Vaughan, ON—Employees of C.E.C. Mechanical Ltd. ratified a new three-year collective agreement providing them with wage increases and other improvements.

The employees are represented by Construction Workers Union, CLAC Local 52. The union has represented the employees since 2003.

The new contract provides employees with a 6.5 percent wage increase, reimbursement for parking fees, a $50 increase to the vision care plan, and a $100 increase in paramedical expense coverage.

“The bargaining committee was committed to this process and worked hard to achieve the priorities of the members,” says Joshua Vanderlaan, CLAC representative.

C.E.C Mechanical employs 30 Local 52 members who perform mechanical work in the Greater Toronto Area.
