Suggestion for Board Nomination

Your union, CLAC Local 152, is holding an election for board members. The Local Board supervises the activities of the Local, in harmony with CLAC’s constitution.

Three positions need to be filled.

It is important to remember that, “no one shall be nominated who is not a member in good standing of the Local, or has not indicated a willingness to serve if elected, is not qualified to give leadership that is in harmony with the constitution, or whose conduct reflects unfavorably upon CLAC or its locals.” (Article 12.07)

When suggesting a nominee, it is important to get the nominee’s approval that he or she is prepared and willing to serve. You may not nominate yourself.

You must submit your nominations on or before noon, February 23. Please fill out the form below to submit your nomination, or contact your representative for a paper copy, which you must submit to the Winnipeg Member Centre.

The Local 152 Board will then present the final slate of candidates.

An electronic election will be held between February 29, 2024 and March 3, 2024.
