Vision Care

Coverage for this benefit is the same for the Service, Gold, and Premium plans. Eyeglasses are covered up to a maximum in any one year for persons under age 21 or in any two-year period for any other person. Maximums are as set out in your benefit booklet.

Eye exams are covered once every 24 months for adults and once every 12 months for children under age 21. Your provincial health care may cover your eye exams, in which case it will pay.
