Accidental Death & Dismemberment

With this benefit, you are insured against the perils described in the loss schedule (outlined in the group insurance plan booklet). Your protection is worldwide, 24 hours a day, on or off the job. Benefits are payable regardless of any other benefits that you may receive from any insurance company other than the benefit provider or any other organization.

This benefit only applies to you, the member, and therefore does not extend to dependents.

Benefit Amount

The principal sum of this benefit is equal to the basic life insurance benefit. If you are entitled to this benefit, the maximum amount as selected by your group will be shown on your wallet identification card.

Termination

The benefit amount reduces by 50% upon attainment of age 65. Coverage terminates the earlier of age 70 or retirement.
