Calgary—Employees of Westpro Infrastructure Ltd. recently voted unanimously in favour of their first collective agreement, which provides industry competitive wages, retirement provisions, health and welfare benefits as well as training and apprenticeship funding provisions.
“We are very happy to be represented by Local 63 and look forward to working with CLAC and Westpro in the future,” says Adam Vose, bargaining committee member.
Westpro employs carpenters, labourers, and operating engineers in both Calgary and Edmonton. Currently, they are working on a number of bridge and water treatment plant projects.
