Langley, BC—Workers employed by Teleflex Canada in Richmond voted to choose CLAC to represent them as their union today. CLAC came out on top over the Steelworkers in a vote count conducted under the supervision of the BC Labour Relations Board. The Teleflex workers will become members of the Service, Health and allied Workers’ Union, Local 501, affiliated with CLAC.
“CLAC is honoured to have the opportunity to represent Teleflex workers again,” says Josh Pastoor, BC representative. “They put their trust in CLAC and we will ensure that they receive responsive and effective representation.”
