Saskatoon Pharmacy Student Receives CLAC Scholarship

Saskatoon, SK—Ariane Lewis, a member of Construction Workers Union, Local 63, has won one of twelve $1,500 scholarships awarded annually by CLAC to members, their spouses, children, and grandchildren.

Ariane is a second-year pharmacy student at the University of Saskatchewan. She has been employed by Ledcor over the past six summers working in both the commercial and industrial divisions. The past two summers, she worked on the Albian Sands Expansion Project north of Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The timing of the scholarship could not be better for Ariane. She intends to use the money to attend a pharmacy conference on the east coast this fall.
