Royal Ready-Mix Workers Cement Solid Collective Agreement

Mississauga, ON—In a unanimous vote, members of Construction Workers Local 52 ratified a new collective agreement with Royal Ready Mix Inc.

The contract includes significant increases to wages and pension, along with improved language to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.

“The negotiations went extremely well and we are very pleased with the results,” says Carl Gath, a member of the bargaining committee and ready mix driver. “The increase to the pension has put us in a great position to save for the future and the wage increases help us in the here and now.”
