Royal Ready Construction Agreement Paves the Way for Next Three Years

Mississauga, ON—Members of Construction Workers Local 52 working for Royal Ready Construction Limited recently ratified a new collective agreement.

The contract includes increases to wages, pension, dental coverage, and the safety clothing and footwear provisions. It also includes language improvements in order to maintain a positive work culture.

“The negotiations went very well and we are pleased with the results,” says Jonathan Schat, Ontario representative. “The membership came to the bargaining table with a number of priorities, and we were able to meet these head on and negotiate a new collective agreement that was fully endorsed by the membership.”
