Toronto—Employees of Rockwell Site Works voted unanimously in favour of a renewed collective agreement, which provides a total package increase of over 16 percent.
The three-year agreement includes wage increases of 10 to 13 percent and a $150 boot allowance increase. Improvements were also made to health benefits coverage, pension contributions, and holidays.
The employees are members of Construction Workers Local 52.
“This was a great set of negotiations with both parties being satisfied with the result,” says Stephen Bromell, a CLAC representative. “The union appreciates the overwhelming support of the membership with their endorsement of the settlement.”
