Retroactive Increases for CUC Employees

Calgary—Local 63 members employed by Canadian Utility Construction Corp. in Calgary ratified a new three-year collective agreement providing wage increases retroactive to May 1, 2011.

The contract also includes additional paid days for bereavement leave and changes to the probation period. The employees are primarily engaged in underground utilities work including electrical, gas, and water lines in the Calgary area.
