Langley, BC— Twenty members of the Transport, Construction and General Workers Union, Local 66, employed by Triton Transport recently ratified a new three-year contract.
The agreement includes a significant increase in the monthly pension contribution from the employer, as well as wage increases of nine percent over the term.
"After some pretty lean years recently it’s great to see a decent increase for the members," says BC Representative Don Mundy. "With construction picking up in the Vancouver area, Triton has picked up a lot of work."
