Chatham, ON—Chatham Retirement Resort employees ratified a new three-year renewal collective agreement providing an average wage raise of 5.5 percent over the term as well as increases to benefits coverage, pager allowance, and uniform allowance.
The Local 303 members voted 95 percent in favour of the new contract. “The bargaining committee addressed many of the initial proposals from the membership while maintaining what has become an excellent collective agreement,” says Brendan Kooy, Ontario representative.
Local 303 has represented Chatham Retirement Resort employees since 1993.
